The Ray Hicks Memorial Georgia Hereford Youth Scholarship will annually award one Georgia Junior Hereford Association member $500 towards the purchase of a registered Hereford animal.

This scholarship is awarded in memory of Ray Hicks who passed away in 2020.  Ray was an active member of the Georgia Hereford Association for over 35 years, serving in several roles as a board member, president and secretary. Ray was also an advisor for the Georgia Junior Hereford Association. He was inducted into the Georgia Hereford Hall of Fame in 2018.
